When you contact us and seek support we arrange a One to One meeting with you, either in the hospital, in your own home or at our offices here in Harlesden. We will negotiate the venue with you.
We will allocate a staff member to support you who will become your Key Worker. You can then get to know this person with whom you will be able to confide in and work out confidentially what your support needs are in more detail. Eventually the aim to set up a routine which will enable you to move forward and achieve your goals.
Monday is the day - as well as other times - when lots of One to One meetings will take place.
Individual one to one is aimed at supporting service users in accessing and fulfilling life goals within the community setting.
ACCNS service users are given support in accessing Leisure & Sport, Education, Volunteering, Work, Faith & Cultural Opportunities. Service users are also supported in maintaining and expanding their social network.
